Our humble owner, Kat has been in the garment embellishment business since 1992.
She was an owner of a top embroidery business in south Florida.
Her business was represented in 43 states, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, by a select few talented and appreciated salespeople.
They exhibited at most of the national gift shows and the regional shows that their loyal customers attended.
Her extremely successful company supplied small boutiques, medium multi-location stores and larger department stores, with the best quality in this industry.
Her experience, keen eye for color and graphics combined with inspiration and love of mother earth will bring you fabulous garments!
We are entering a time in history that will change our way of thinking. It's up to those that have awareness to inspire others. "With great power comes great responsibility". Knowledge is power.
This recent bit of information has stopped me from buying conventional cotton or using it in our line of clothing.
According to the USDA, over 57 million pounds of pesticides were applied to cotton fields in one year alone. It is simply not possible to mitigate the environmental impact of this type of broad based application. It impacts aquatic life, our well supplies (over 33 million people est. exposed to the pesticide Atrazine in the US through their drinking water), bird life, etc. WHO (2002) estimates that about 40,000 agricultural workers die from pesticide application every single year!
We were part of the problem for many years and have made it our passion and purpose to be part of the solution.
By changing gears, to "go organic" we risk the financial success that many apparel companies experience, early on.
But that, not only won't slow us down...it's given us more determination to do the right thing, be leaders and power on!
We believe that this mantra has blessed us with divine inspirations, which we are anxious to share with you!
Our inspirations are captured by the talented and lovely, Elvira LaMontagne.
She and Kat have been creating beautiful graphics together for 12 years!
Elvira started to paint at the age of 3, she was profoundly inspired by abstract acrylic German painter and later on good friend Ryner Byneck, after attending his art exhibit.
